Cari Earnhart
Cari Earnhart, mezzo-soprano, combines careers in performing and teaching. She has been performing as an Oratorio soloist since 1998, singing repertoire from Bach to Faurè. Most recently, Miss Earnhart has performed with the Coro Cameristico Fiorentino, Coro Accademia del Diletto, Coro Caricentro and Ensemble Vocale Tempus Floridum. She has appeared as a Guest soloist with the Amarillo Symphony Chorus and the OK Mozart International Music Festival in the United States and at the Casalmaggiore International Music Festival in Italy. Miss Earnhart began her professional singing career in New York City singing with professional choirs in Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center. She has also performed with Conspirare Chamber Choir, based in Austin and Texas Choral Artists, based in Dallas and participated in the Bard Music Festival in New York state.
Miss Earnhart earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and a Master of Music degrees in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Currently, Miss Earnhart works as a Professional Vocalist and Vocal Coach and is serving as conductor for Ensemble Vocale Tempus Floridum in the 2009/2010 season. Prior to moving to Florence in May 2008, she taught private voice lessons, served as guest conductor for choral festivals, participated as a guest lecturer for vocal master classes and acted as an adjudicator for state and regional voice and choral competitions. Miss Earnhart has taught at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, Frank Phillips College, Oklahoma State University and in the Texas public schools.
